Building a Stronger, More Sustainable Community with Amazing Refill Partners

Building a Stronger, More Sustainable Community with Amazing Refill Partners

Last month we began rolling out our Business to Business Refilling Program, and we are so excited to share a little bit about some of the amazing local businesses who stepped right up and partnered with us to help make our community more sustainable and to bolster our local economy. Our partners are small businesses who serve and support lots of local folks, so whether they are refilling laundry detergent that you don't see, or refilling their hand soap that you do see, they are reducing a lot of plastic! Please support these local businesses that have gone the extra mile to support us and let them know that you appreciate them making our community better! Feel free to share this program with the small businesses you support, and if you are a small business owner, please reach out, we'd love to partner with you, too!

Reware Vintage

We've always loved Reduce Reuse Refill, and we totally love Reware! Everthing about this local gem is sustainably and community minded! With their fabulous storefront in Berkley, you can find the most awesome vintage threads that have been thoughtfully curated and checked for authenticity. They are the perfect antidote to the fast fashion movement!

Elaine B Jewlery

If you are familiar with downtown Ferndale, then you probably already recognize this beautiful storefront on Woodward. But you may not know just how committed Elaine B and her talented, dedicated and kind team is to community and sustainable practices. From sourcing of materials to creating unique lasting pieces of jewelry to giving back, this team puts their values into action every day and it is an honor to have them as refill partners

Detroit Parent Collective

DPC is committed to nurturing children and families; making intentional, earth-based spaces for creative play and growth & bridging divides based on socioeconomic class, race and ethnicity. Their model is revolutionary and it is building something new and beautiful in the city of Detroit. We are in awe of their work and so beyond grateful to be partnered with them.

Breathe Bodywork and Beautification

Our almost-next-door neighbors here on Hilton have been refilling with us before we had our storefront because they care about the planet and are ALL ABOUT uplifting other local small businesses! They are an award winning (hello HOUR!) vegan wellness spa offering a wide array of services designed to support and nurture. We are so grateful for Breathe's support! Check them out!

Mint Hair Crafting

Our new neighbors just up Hilton are a team of true hair artists! They are also fiercely committed to community and planet. They support other local small business, fundraise for local organizations, are passionate about mental health, and made steps to repurpose while renovating their new space! Now they're refilling & we think you should check them out if you're looking for a new look!

Acorn Family Retreats

In this beautiful vacation home on the shores of Lake Huron, you'll find quiet moments in nature and a place to connect with your people. You'll also find that every detail of this intentional space was been built with the planet, and self-care in mind.  They are a part of Give Back Great Lakes, so they give back to organizations that keep our Great Lakes beautiful, built their home with sustainable practices, and also support local businesses whenever they can. Need a perfect MI getaway to recharge and connect? You want to be here.

Stay Tuned, More Great Stuff Ahead

We've got lots of great stuff happening in the shop & coming up for the holidays, but we wanted to make sure we took some time to share about these wonderful local businesses who are supporting us and helping knit the fabric of our community a little tighter. We are so grateful for them, and so grateful for you! Thanks for doing this thing with us, neighbors!
