Fall is definitely in the air and a change of season is a good time to both take stock and look forward. First, a huge thank you to all of our customers and everyone we’ve met this summer! It has been such an exciting start. Deliveries have let us bring zero-waste options right to your doorstep, and pop-ups at Drifter Coffee have given us the opportunity to meet so many neighbors and new friends who have been working to live more sustainably. We feel really at home and lucky to be in this community where folx are concerned about sustainability and social justice. You have shown loads of generosity (pun absolutely intended), and we have done two trips to donate plastic-free laundry powder to Corner Shower & Laundry in Corktown.
And as we move forward, we want to help make refilling as convenient as possible. We are excited to share that we have just opened up our first physical space inside Whimsical Wit in Ferndale! You can refill your own containers here, at our pop-ups, and even with delivery. (If you are interested in us refilling your own containers with delivery, just check out our ‘how-to’ section, or feel free to email or message us with questions.) As we grow, we are introducing new products to help you reduce waste in your daily life (we are trying out products all the time, and if you have suggestions for items you would like to see us carry, just let us know!) and as the holiday season approaches, you’ll notice that we’ll have some gift packages available for the eco-conscious friends, family, teachers, co-workers and more in your life (or just to give yourself a treat). If you have larger orders you would like to place, just let us know, we are happy to accommodate.
So while this fall is unlike any other; is filled with so many mixed emotions, we know at least one of them is hope. Hope for a better future. Together!
