Our 'Why'

Around the world, almost 1 million plastic bottles are purchased every MINUTE. More than 90% of plastics do not get recycled, which means they end up in our landfills, burned, or in our oceans and waterways. This model of consumption is not sustainable for our planet or its inhabitants. At Walking Lightly, we believe that if consumers demand better and different models, industries will be forced to adapt and real change will happen. This is why we partner with suppliers who take back the containers they ship in, and are constantly working to reduce our own waste. It is also why we don't sell strips or pods that are made with petroleum-based PVA or PVOH. We are learning, improving, and we can do this together!
