Community Learning Session: DIY Upcycled Leather Wallet

Walking Lightly will be hosting monthly educational workshops to learn (and play) about living life more sustainably.  We're so excited this month to welcome back Gabrielle Soltis, a bespoke shoemaker based in Detroit. Her work centers on the belief that handmade objects carry meaning and intention that mass-produced goods cannot. When she's not building custom shoes in her studio, she teaches leather-working at the College for Creative Studies.

*Space for workshops is limited, and as such any last-minute cancellations can not be refunded. If you need to cancel your reservation, please do so as soon as possible. Cancellations emailed to together@walkinglightly.net at least 72 hours prior to the workshop will be partially refunded (cost of ticket minus $5 transaction fee and additionally for the cost of any supplies that the facilitator pre-purchased, if applicable).
